We went to Byron Bay for a holiday a couple of weeks ago! Jackson was really tired the morning after our arrival. We stayed in a holiday apartment with a pool so Jackson could show off what he's been learning at swimming lessons. It was right across from the Belongil Beach (which, many decades ago, was a whaling station)
We had loads of fun on the beach. We drove out to the lighthouse on our way back to the airport. It was a great holiday!
Jackson and Mama went to the Australian Grand Prix last week! The night before, Jackson had a slumber party with Lili. They watched his favourite movie, Cars, and Lili gave Jackson a chocolate race car! The next morning it was time for the Grand Prix! Mama and Jackson watched a race of classic cars spanning many decades, and the Porsche Carrera Cup, in which one of the race cars had a crash! We also got to see the F1's starting their practice sessions. Here's a video of Jackson pretending to be a race car.
Jackson's favourite part of the day was getting this checkered flag stamp. On the weekend, Mama made Jackson a racing obstacle course in the driveway.
