Christmas 2009!
When Jackson woke up on Christmas morning, he was so excited to see that Santa Claus had left surprises in our stockings and in his Santa sack.

He opened his Santa sack and found....
Granma and Lili came over and Daddy made some treats on the BBQ, such as these prawns...

...followed by wagyu steak and potatoes.

There were lots of other courses, and between each course we all opened a present or two in the library.

We did Christmas crackers and had more fun eating and drinking!

In the late afternoon we went for a walk in the park and fed the ducks in the river. A nice lady gave us some bread.

Grandaddy spotted this kookaburra and took this great shot:

We had a great day, as indicated by the mess!

Fun With Name and Grandaddy Part 2
Just before Christmas, Jackson, Mama, Name and Grandaddy went on a trip along the Great Ocean Road. First we stopped in at our friends Angus and Rachel's place, where they gave us some home-grown veggies and eggs to take with us.

We stayed in a great house with 30 acres of bushland to explore.

We visited the iconic 12 Apostles.

And we went to a wild beach...

...where Grandaddy swallowed one of the millions of flies that plagued us everywhere!

We cooked good things...

...and read lots of stories.

And one evening we went on a rainforest walk after dinner!
On the drive home we stopped off at another beach for some fun.

And we even saw a slew of koalas!

Fun With Name and Grandaddy Part 1
Name and Grandaddy arrived in Melbourne on the 17th. The first morning after they arrived, we had a nice brunch in our neighbourhood, then walked to Jackson's music class for a special Christmas session, and ended the morning with Jackson getting a haircut from our hairdresser Lou.

Jackson enjoyed waking up from his nap to see all the Christmas presents Name and Granaddy had put under the tree!

We paid a little visit to Jackson's school, and then we went over to Granma's for dinner.

The next day we went downtown so Jackson could see Santa. He got to ride a train as well!

Afterwards, we checked out some if Melbourne's shopping arcades, and had crepes and lattes while Jackson checked out some street musicians.
Next, we checked out the Victoria Market, largest in the Southern hemisphere. There we met Vicky and James and had doughnuts and hot dogs...More soon!
