Happy Mardi Gras!

On Saturday, we had a Mardi Gras/Housewarming Party.

Jackson helped Mama cook biscuits, gumbo, red beans and rice, pralines, and cupcakes.

Angus came over beforehand.

So did Vicky and James.

We had fun!

Happy Belated Valentine's Day!

Jackson got a neat parcel from Name and Grandaddy!


It contained Valentines plus some Dick and Jane books and magnets.



Jackson loves Dick and Jane, because they're the American versions of Janet and John, from the similar book series in the UK that he loves.

(PS. In case you noticed and wondered, Jackson had a tumble on the pavement last week and scraped the skin above his upper lip--it's almost all disappeared now though.)

We are really behind on our blog updates. We still need to post about Christmas, our visit with Chris and Anne in China, and all the summer fun we're having back in Melbourne, including moving into our new house.
