Today there was a convention of Volkswagon camper vans on the seafront, so we used it as an opportunity to take Jackson for a walk in his sling. He really likes being in it, and usually falls asleep.

Sounds like the start of a joke, but no, it's real -each of us now has a passport and is a citizen of a completely different county! So on returning to the UK after New Year's, Jackson will be the only one allowed to use the "locals" passport control line, so he'd better be able to walk and talk by then...
