They were shaped like ghosts and cats (our Halloween costumes) and we got the recipe from Memaw's old cookbook. They tasted like ones Name used to make.
Then we carved a little jack-o-lantern.
The next day we went trick-or-treating!
We stopped by Granma's first. She had lots of Halloween decorations and treats, including TS Eliots Book of Cats!
Then we went to lunch at Misty's American Diner. Jackson practiced his "scary" face.

Next we went to Lili's house. She had decorations and treats, including a lovely pumpkin shepherd's pie for Mama!
She also had a neat mask for Jackson.
Happy Halloween!

Vicky: Jackson's expression when he's holding his little jack-o-lantern is the same one he pulls when I ask him for my eyeballs back (clamp little mouth tightly shut and refuse to give them back). Totally cute. BTW thanks for the cookies, can I blame Baby O for eating them all????? Delicious!!! x
Hi, Jackson! What a great Hallowe'en you had with Mama, Granma, and Lili. I wish you could have been in America for Hallowe'en, also. If you had come to Grandaddy and 'Name's house to Trick or Treat, you would have been Trick or Treater number 201! By the time we shut down, 'Name was giving out Metamucil bars!
Love,
Grandaddy
Well Stacy, at least the kids in the neighborhood will be regular!!!!! Vicky
