Congratulations, Grandaddy!
Grandaddy was awarded the title of Honor Professor for this year, and Jackson and Mama got to sneak into the faculty meeting at SAU and see the honors happen!

Congratulations to Stacy too - from Vicky (& James). I am particularly impressed with: a) how you used the mace for what looked like a spot of backyard cricket and b) how the family are all in matching blue tops. Very coordinated!
Thanks to all for the congratulations! In addition to having to warehouse the mace for a year, I have to carry it and lead the procession at commencement not only this coming Friday (TWO different ceremonies if rain drives the event indoors) but also in August and December. Past recipients have had to deliver the commencement address at the December ceremony. Thanks, Vicki, for commenting on the matching tops. It was an accident!
